Professional Education:

B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
Masters of Physical Therapy, California State University, Sacramento

Ethan App obtained a BS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010, graduating Magna Cum Laude. The same year, he was awarded the Cal Poly Kinesiology Student of The Year by faculty at the university. He continued his education with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from California State University Sacramento and has trained in multiple specialty areas including Neurology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and Acute Care.

Ethan is a San Luis Obispo native. Prior to embarking on his physical therapy education, he worked as a Golf course Superintendent at Sea Pines Golf Resort in Los Osos. He has extensive experience concerning progressive resistant exercise having competed in powerlifting throughout his high school and college years. When he is not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife and two sons.

Ethan makes every effort to combine clinical experience and knowledge of current research to provide the highest quality individualized care for his patients. Areas of professional interest include Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Manual Therapy, Neck and Spine Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation, Injury Prevention, Shoulder Rehabilitation, and Fall Prevention.
